material.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Albi (81) &#8211; Occitanie &#8211; France<\/p>\n<p><strong>Customer<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imt-mines-albi.fr\/fr\/rapsodee\">RAPSODEE<\/a> research center at<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imt-mines-albi.fr\/\">IMT Mines Albi Carmaux<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prayon.com\/en\/\">Prayon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocp.fr\/\">OCP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Type<\/strong>: Prototype for public research laboratory<\/p>\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of this prototype is to create a pilot capable of evaluating the performance of a new <a href=\"https:\/\/ecotechceram.com\/stockage-de-l-energie?swcfpc=1\">storage<\/a> material.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The storage system in question must be able to use air to charge and discharge heat within a granular bed in a purpose-built storage area.<\/p>\n<p>Analysis of output data (outlet air temperature as a function of charging or discharging time, axial temperature profiles in the bed, etc.) should enable material and system performance to be assessed.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test laboratory for materials over 1000\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Work area included<\/li>\n<li>Mobile prototype, can be moved to different sites (France, Belgium, Morocco)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Creation of a turnkey technology platform for a number of R&amp;D projects, with the aim of :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The development of storage materials<\/li>\n<li>Ageing studies linked to system efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Improve knowledge of air\/ceramic heat exchange<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical data  <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Storage capacity: 500 kg of materials for a volume of 400 dm3<\/li>\n<li>Variable airflow from 100kg\/h to 400kg\/h<\/li>\n<li>Variable power rating from 10 kW thermal to 60 kW thermal<\/li>\n<li>Footprint: 6 meters by 5 meters (container format)<\/li>\n<li>Modular and movable by truck and boat<\/li>\n<li>Ergonomic storage tank filling and emptying system<\/li>\n<li>Integrated supervision area with man\/machine interface and real-time data visualization
