Antoine Meffre was invited today by Emmanuel Macron in Toulouse. French President Nicolas Sarkozy has proposed a number of major avenues for pursuing the France 2030 program: “I want us to develop medium- and long-term storage facilities to better manage the flexibility of the power system, which is made necessary in particular by the use of renewable energies.”
Our
storage system coupled with power to heat
system, which we commissioned at the Villeroy & Boch factory, is a carbon-free industrial heat production duo. Excess electricity generated from renewables can be converted and stored as heat. This stored heat can then be directly redistributed as needed.
Our industrial infrastructures are the concrete embodiment of France’s ambitions to decarbonize industry, and proof that we have the technologies to become the leader of green industry in Europe.
