We told you we would, and we did! We distributed our first climate dividends!
125 tonnes of CO2 for 2022 have been distributed to our shareholders.
And from our construction sites in 2023, more than 3,600 tonnes of CO2 will be redistributed in the form of climate dividends in 2024!
As a reminder, 1 climate dividend = 1 tonne of CO2 avoided or sequestered.
Yesterday we took part in a webinar organized by Climate Dividends. This enabled us to provide feedback on the pilot phase of the first generation of climate dividends.
We joined the pilot phase because, for us, a profound #ecologicaltransition of companies also means piloting and valuing them with indicators other than financial ones. And we are convinced that climate dividends are the right answer to this challenge.
Little by little, the climate dividend initiative is spreading through the ecosystem of sustainable investors and climate-friendly companies like Eco-Tech Ceram.
This initiative has prompted reflection on our value chain and how the positive impact can be distributed among our stakeholders. At Eco-Tech Ceram, we believe that the ecological transition also requires greater collaboration between the players in our value chain. We act with this mindset in order to be fully aligned with our decarbonization objective and build global coherence around it.
Our aim now is to deploy our solutions and maximize our impact. So we’re very open and interested in talking to potential financial and business partners.
