Following the modification of the kiln hoods at their roof tile manufacturing site in wienerberger in Pontigny in Burgundy, the fumes recovered from the chimneys of each furnace are ready to be sent and stored in our heat accumulator, the Eco-Stockwhich our teams are currently installing.
This thermal storage system will allow the simultaneous charging and discharging of energy and will supply the different chambers of the dryer, replacing the gas burners.
The Eco-Stock® controls the duration, power, temperature and flow rate of the energy flows.
The objective is to ensure the operation of the dryers without gas consumption.
