Eco-Tech Ceram participated in the official presentation of the Climate Dividends initiative on the valuation of avoided or sequestered carbon emissions on May 23, 2023.
A round table, in which Sweep, Mirova, Team for the Planet andADEME took part, provided an opportunity to discuss the valuation of avoided emissions and the measurement of the contribution to carbon neutrality by financiers. Some of the actors involved gave their testimony.
Climate Dividends are a new extra-financial information that corresponds to the positive climate impact of a company, measured by the emissions avoided or sequestered, that can be claimed by the company’s shareholders.
This new indicator is developed by the newly created Climate Dividends Association, co-founded by ADEME, Sweep, Team for the Planet, Mirova and the Kanopée Partage Foundation, whose mission is to encourage the financing of the ecological transition.
