Introduction of Climate Dividends: Eco-Tech Ceram takes part in the pilot phase. This initiative is a pioneer in the extra-financial valuation of climate change mitigation projects (reducing greenhouse gas emissions).
We are in the process of having the number of tonnes of CO2 avoided by our infrastructures in 2022 certified by an independent third party, in order to deduce the exact number we will be able to distribute to our shareholders for 2022.
The Climate Dividend is an extra-financial indicator designed to quantify a company’s positive impact on the climate. 1 climate dividend = 1 tonne of CO2 avoided or sequestered. These climate dividends are requested and issued by companies involved in decarbonization. They are then distributed as financial dividends to investors in these companies.
